Operation at Large was the federal immigration enforcement surge across Southern California that began with large-scale ICE raids in Los Angeles in June 2025. The raids set off sustained protests, the federalization of the California National Guard, and the deployment of active-duty Marines, all of which are tracked separately under National Guard Deployments because they turn on military-deployment law rather than immigration enforcement.
