Further Amendment to Duties Addressing the Synthetic Opioid Supply Chain in the People's Republic of China

Prior determination found China's failure to act against fentanyl flow to U.S. constitutes unusual and extraordinary national security threat. Ad valorem tariffs were imposed on Chinese articles. China has not taken adequate steps to alleviate the drug crisis.

Section 2(a) of Executive Order 14195 amended to increase tariff rate from 10 percent to 20 percent on Chinese articles in response to China's failure to cooperate.
