Directs the preparation of plans to dismantle or significantly reduce specific federal agencies and departments. Targets include the Department of Education. This is a continuation of EO 14210 (DOGE workforce).

Sec. 1 Purpose

Federal bureaucracy unnecessarily expands and impedes government effectiveness. Reduction of unnecessary Federal entities and functions is necessary.

Sec. 2 Reducing the Scope of the Federal Bureaucracy

Non-statutory components and functions of Presidio Trust, Inter-American Foundation, U.S. African Development Foundation, and U.S. Institute of Peace shall be eliminated and statutory functions reduced to minimum required by law. Heads shall submit compliance reports within 14 days. OMB shall reject inconsistent funding requests. Presidential Memorandum on Regional Coordination is revoked. OPM Director shall withdraw regulations establishing Federal Executive Boards and terminate Intergovernmental Personnel Act Commission.

Sec. 3 General Provisions

Standard boilerplate: preserves existing agency authority, conditions the order on appropriations, and creates no enforceable private rights.
