Amendment to Duties to Address the Situation at Our Southern Border
Amends EO 14194 (the southern-border duties order) to clarify that duty-free de minimis treatment stays available for otherwise-eligible covered Mexican articles, ceasing only when the Commerce Secretary certifies that systems are in place to process and collect tariff revenue. Signed the same day as EO 14226, which is the parallel amendment for the northern (Canada) border.
